Turkish Lentil Cakes

These are great over a salad served at room temperature.

1/4 c turkish (red) lentils
16 oz water
3/4 cup bulgur
1 large onion
1 t parpika
1 t cumin
Boil lentils in water until soft. Add bulgur and soak 1 hour. All of the water should be absorbed, forming a dough. Saute the onion, adding 1 T water and spices. Knead with lentil dough and form into cakes.
